Current Status: Microsoft has identified that this security warning is the result of a temporary fix for a separate issue. A long-term solution is under development and is expected to be deployed by Tuesday, August 13, 2024 (Still not yet resolved).
In the meantime, to suppress this warning for trusted sites, you can add the relevant URLs to the "Trusted Sites" list in Internet Options. Below are the steps you can take:
- Open Control Panel > Internet Options or Just Search “Internet Options”
- Go to the Security tab > Trusted Sites
- Click Sites and add the following URLs:
o https://pegasys1.sharepoint.com
o https://pegasys1-my.sharepoint.com
- Restart the Teams app and Office applications and check if the warning prompt persists.
